Location

We are conveniently located centrally in Northwest Albuquerque, New Mexico, providing easy access for families across the city and nearby communities. Our central location makes drop-offs and pick-ups simple while keeping your child close to home in a safe, nurturing environment.

Admissions

We’re thrilled that you’re considering Oceans Montessori Academy for your child’s early childhood education! To ensure a smooth and easy enrollment experience, we’ve outlined the steps below. We’re here to guide you through every step of the way.

Step 1: Verify Space Availability & Schedule a Tour: Before scheduling your tour, we will first verify that we have availability in the appropriate program based on your child’s age and your childcare needs. Once we confirm space, we’ll schedule your tour. During the tour, you’ll have the chance to explore our environment, meet our Guides, and learn more about how our program can benefit your child.

Step 2: Provide Contact Information & Receive Enrollment Packet: After your tour, we’ll ask you to provide basic contact information, including your name, phone number, and email address. We’ll then send you the Enrollment Packet, which contains all the necessary forms for your child’s registration, including the Enrollment Form and Family Handbook. The packet is sent via email through the Wonderschool app for easy access.

Step 3: Complete the Enrollment Form & Review the Family Handbook: Once you’ve received the Enrollment Packet, you will need to complete the Enrollment Form. This form provides us with essential details about your child, including health information, immunization records, and emergency contacts. Afterward, take time to review our Family Handbook, which outlines important policies, guidelines, and expectations for your child’s experience at Oceans Montessori Academy. Once you’ve reviewed the Family Handbook, you will electronically sign off within the Wonderschool app to acknowledge that you have read and understood our policies and guidelines.

Step 4: Download the Wonderschool App: To stay connected, download the Wonderschool app on your phone. This app will allow you to: • Communicate with your child’s Guides and receive daily updates. • View photos and notes about your child’s activities and progress. • Pay tuition invoices quickly and securely. • Check in/out your child from their program for accurate attendance tracking and to ensure smooth drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Step 5: Pay Registration Fee & Tuition: To finalize enrollment, all families will need to pay the $100 registration fee. For tuition, families who are paying privately can pay the first week’s tuition directly through the Wonderschool app. For families using state-funded contracts to cover childcare, the registration fee is still required, but instead of paying tuition directly, you will need to contact the New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) to inform them that your child will be attending Oceans Montessori Academy. This will allow your contract to be assigned to Oceans for tuition coverage. Once all payments and contract assignments are completed, your child will officially be enrolled in the program.

Step 6: Welcome to Oceans Montessori Academy!: Once your registration is complete, we’ll send you additional details to help prepare for your child’s first day. We can’t wait to welcome your family!
