Our Teachers

Nancy, is a dedicated early childhood education professional and a graduate of Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) with a degree in Early Childhood Education. With over a decade of hands-on experience working with children, Nancy brings a deep understanding of child development, learning through play, and creating nurturing, inclusive environments where children can thrive.

Throughout their career, Nancy has worked with children of diverse backgrounds and developmental stages, building strong relationships with both students and families. They are passionate about supporting social, emotional, and cognitive growth while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. Known for patience, creativity, and a child-centered approach, Nancy is committed to making a positive and lasting impact in the lives of young learners

Philosophy

We believe childhood is not a race, but a season to be honored.

At our daycare, we see every child as capable, curious, and deserving of deep respect. Children are not empty vessels to be filled, but active learners who make sense of the world through play, relationships, and exploration. Our role is to guide, protect, and nurture—not rush or control.

We believe play is essential work. Through play, children develop language, problem-solving skills, creativity, emotional awareness, and confidence. We provide a safe, engaging environment where play is valued as the foundation of lifelong learning.

Located in North Albuquerque Acres, Little Scholars offers a warm and nurturing setting for children to grow. Our program focuses on preparing youngsters for school while fostering cognitive and physical growth. What sets us apart are our enriching extracurricular activities in music, arts, and sports, ensuring a well-rounded education for your little one.
