Our Teachers
Our lead teacher has over 2 years of experience in early childhood education and is dedicated to creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that support each child’s development. Our assistant teacher brings 5+ years of experience working with young children and is committed to building positive relationships with every child and family. Both teachers have earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degrees and are currently continuing their education by working toward their Bachelor’s degrees (B.A.) in a related field. Their ongoing professional growth reflects their commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and staying current with best practices. Together, our teachers create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel valued, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. We believe that strong relationships, play-based learning, and individualized support help every child develop the confidence and skills they need for future success.
Philosophy
At Learning Ladder Academy Pre-K, our program follows New Mexico Early Learning Guidelines and provides a high-quality, play-based learning experience that supports the development of the whole child. We believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, meaningful interactions, and engaging activities that foster curiosity and confidence. Our curriculum promotes growth in language and literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, physical development, and creative expression. We create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels respected, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We value strong partnerships with families and believe that working together helps children succeed. Our goal is to prepare every child for kindergarten by building independence, problem-solving skills, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.
