Our Teachers
Our teachers highly value education. Not just for your kids, but for ourselves. Our professional staff members either hold a degree or are pursuing their degree in early childhood education. Our teachers also work on early childhood trainings throughout the year and are certified in adult, child, and infant First Aid & CPR. We have been working with children for over 25 years and love to watch children learn to understand the world around them through play.
Philosophy
Years of research on children’s learning and development have show how children learn. Children learn by building on what they already know and are interested in. They learn through play and repitition. They learn by doing. Our hands-on approach to early childhood education takes advantage of young children’s natural abilities and interests. Our classroom learning centers encourage children to actively explore their environment.
Location
We are located across from Alamogordo High School and right next to Willie Estrada Civic Center.
About our program
The mission of Zia Therapy Center’s Childcare and Development Program is to provide Alamogordo area families with a high-quality pre-school-based childcare and development program.
