Our Teachers

Allissa Estes, Owner/ Director

Allissa graduated from Hesser College in 2013 with her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching since 2004, from infants to school age. Her dream has finally come true, by owning, opening, and operating her very own child care center. With an open imagination anything is possible.

Amy Estes, Lead Teacher

Amy is continuing her education to obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children since 2012, even though you could find her working with children prior to with theater summer camps. She is an avid theater performer, and enjoys seeing shows as well. When she is not in the classroom your more than likely going to catch her on stage. She believes each and every child is special and unique.

Philosophy

At Out of the Box, we embrace a play-based learning philosophy where children actively engage with their environment through play to learn. We also believe in using our imaginations to create new experiences, allowing for child-led learning and a curriculum that encourages growth and independence. Every day is a unique adventure that promotes hands-on activities and learning at each child’s individual pace. If you can imagine it, you can achieve it!

Location

Our location is near the center of town. We have sidewalks to walk and get to a few local playgrounds and nature trails. We also have access to get the local library. We are in an apartment building, with friendly neighbors. We enjoy taking walks around town and exploring the local area.

About our program

We are a play- based family childcare center. We are here to protect, guide, and nurture your child. All while using our imaginations out of the box to make pretend come to life. We are a hands-on child-led curriculum, and we use a wide range of materials to foster the young imaginations.

Admissions

2. Schedule a tour
3. Fill out the enrollment paperwork
4. Pay the tuition fee and first week payment (payment due the Friday before the week of care)
5. Set a start date
6. Drop off for your child to have a day filled where Imagination takes them all around!
