Our Teachers
I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and Development in 2011. Since then, I have worked in many early childhood settings, including schools, child care centers, and preschools. I started offering child care services in my home in February of 2022. I work to create a safe environment that is focused on the development of the whole child in a home setting.
About our program
Learning Lane Child Care is an in-home child care dedicated to the development of the whole child, from 6 weeks to school age. Here children will engage in a mix of play based learning, and adult directed activities. The majority of the day is spent in play based learning, with developmentally appropriate materials available for use and exploration. Adult led activities include a morning meeting time where we briefly discuss the calendar and weather, followed by a short activity. These times are meant to create additional experiences for children to develop physically and cognitively, as well as socially and emotionally.
