I am the owner and primary caregiver and teacher for our program. I have been in childcare since 2019. Before that I worked in the schools with their special education programs. As I mentioned, I have a huge passion for early childhood education. I love seeing the children love learning and making each day magical and wondrous for them. Because of my passion in this area, I seek out and attend as many trainings and conferences, read as many books and articles, reach out to as many resources as I can to improve my knowledge of early childhood education. I love gaining new ideas, teaching approaches, lesson plans, and activities to incorporate into my program.

Philosophy
My program philosophy is built around the research suggesting the importance that the first five years of a child’s life has on their future. I believe that children begin learning from day one and every minute is a new opportunity to help them learn, grow and develop. My curriculum focuses on all areas of STEAM plus literacy and sensory every day and including all ages into all of our activities at their own pace. We also know that physical activity, large and fine motor skills, nature, rest and nutrition have big impacts on a child’s ability to learn, develop and grow. So, we have incorporated all of these into our daily routines as well.

We are located in a great neighborhood near ONeill Public Elementary School.
About our program
I have a passion for early childhood education. So, my program is built with a high priority around the child’s first five years. I have created a preschool readiness program that includes all the children from birth to five years and beyond in all of our activities. We make an effort to provide activities from all five areas of STEAM plus literacy and sensory every day. I believe that children are constantly learning without even knowing they are learning. I have made it my mission to provide a learning environment that is supportive, encouraging, nurturing and loving so each child is free to learn at their own pace and they can begin to develop a love for learning. My goal is not that they learn everything; simply that they are given the opportunities experience learning in a safe and encouraging environment. My hope is to give the children a positive view of “school” and set them up for a successful educational career and future.
