Our Teachers

Hi, I’m 59 years old. A proud mother of 3 grown children, and grandmother of 5 awesome grandchildren. Also, 3 Pomski’s (dogs) are very friendly and love kids. Just, very much love to bark!! I have been doing daycare for 39 years. I have also been watching children since I was 12 years old. I love children and watching them grow and being in their lives. I constantly educate myself as much as I can. To always stay up-to-date. Recertify in child CPR and 1st aid every 2 years. I’m working on my CDA (Child Development Associate). Taken a 30 hours of A Business Series. Currently working on step 3 of Step Up to Quality. to improve the quality of my program. I am also respite care trained. I am the President of The Columbus Childcare Association. I’m involved in a program called “Rooted in Relationships” It’s all about the social-emotional well-being of our children. My husband Ray is retired & helps with the children. He is called Papa Ray by the kiddos.

Taking my children to daycare feels more like taking my kids to family. Gina is amazing and we can tell our kids are happy and loved there. Thankful for all she does!

Philosophy

Every child is unique and I believe that success and growth comes from encouragement and praise. I focus on building every child’s self-esteem and confidence through positive feedback and, I nurture their neutral strength. A child sees the world around them with wonder and awe and I believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.
