Welcome to Wiggles Child Care! My name is Chelsie Wiggins, and I am the owner/founder and Director of Wiggles Child Care.
A little bit about me and my past experiences – I grew up in a family of five kids, with me being the oldest. Growing up with many siblings gave me a lot of the experience and enhanced my love I have, for kids. I am now a wife and a mom of four, with my children’s name and ages being Davi (17), James (10), Colter (7), and Kinzlee (5). Other than that, I have 10+ years of experience with kids of all ages. Just to name a few of my past experiences, I was the Director of Cubbies, at Bridgeport Community Church for two years, where I led and taught preschool aged kiddos in a youth group setting within the Awana program. Prior to that, I had been a helper/leader for 3 years in the Cubbies program. I have also taught Sunday School for many years for the preschool age group, as well as coached several local youth sports of all ages. I had also worked/helped at Camp Rock, in Redington, NE for 5 years, working with all ages, ranging from preschoolers in VBS’s to High Schoolers.
I currently hold a Pediatric CPR/First Aide Certificate, and I am always looking and involving myself in trainings, to help me provide an excellent child care program, in Wiggles Child Care. I am currently working on my Associates Degree in Early Education through Western Nebraska Community College. I truly believe that we are never too old for personal and professional growth, as well as learning something new.
We have three+ staff, who helps us limit as many closures throughout the year, but also to help our program be more efficient with our day to day activities. We have a partnership with the Bridgeport Schools, who provides bus transportation to/from school from our facilities, for school-aged children. All of our staff are CPR/First Aide Certified, and all are a part of continuing education and trainings throughout the year, to not only meet state requirements, but to go above and beyond so we are able to provide an amazing program for your child(ren)!

Philosophy
As a child care provider, our job is to support the role of the parent. Wiggles Child Care will strive to enhance the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of each and every child. We also believe our job is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children in our care.
Our daycare will provide lots of opportunities for growth, engaged learning, activities, and so much more. While Chelsie does not have a degree in early learning, and does not claim to be a certified preschool whatsoever; however, Wiggles Child Care will engage all the children in our care with learning opportunities, faith-based curriculum, play-based, crafts, games, and with the goal to help further development skills.
About our program
Our learning center, offers lots of opportunities for growth, engaged learning, activities, and so much more. While Chelsie does not have a degree in early learning, she is working on getting her CDA credential. Wiggles Child Care will engage all the children in our care with learning opportunities, crafts, games, and with the goal to help further development skills.
We do encourage play-based learning, as well as supplementing with a faith-based curriculum. We are actively involved in age-appropriate programs offered here locally. One of the exciting new, and upcoming programs that our program will be attending, is the preschool program at the local Bridgeport Library on Thursday’s.
For children who are school-age, parents can coordinate with Bridgeport Public Schools for their children to use their bus transportation to/from our program, which our location is currently on a bus route.

2. Tour our program
Come see what makes Wiggles Child Care unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/wiggles-child-care-6841/apply – note that enrollment application does not guarantee a spot in our program. You will be contacted by Wiggles Child Care staff, to schedule a tour. Tours/interviews are required before enrollment is completed and active.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
After Enrolling, you will be contacted by Wiggles Child Care staff, to schedule a second meeting, to complete remaining enrollment/contracts.
