Our Teachers

My name is Carla McGrath. I am also a mother of 4 and a wife to a wonderful man. I started my DayCare on Nov. 1, 2001. I never dreamed it would bloom into my dream job. And not only is it my job, but it is also my life. I have had the privilege of raising my two youngest from infancy while doing daycare. Taking care of little ones is what I was always meant to do. My DayCare is Licensed through the State of Nebraska. As a mom and provider, I want to offer a quality and excellent service where parents feel safe and calm when leaving their children with my daycare. I have experience caring for children with a variety of special needs, including down syndrome, diabetes, autism, ADHD, and tube feeding. I’m also looking to learn more through the many classes that are offered to us.

Testimonials

My daughter has attended Carla McGrath’s Daycare since infancy. I’ve considered myself extremely lucky to have Carla caring for my child these three years. She offers a loving environment for the children and a genuine peace of mind for parents. As a working mother, I take great comfort in knowing that during the hours I’m unable to care for my daughter, she is not lacking for attention, affection or stimulation. Carla goes out of her way to provide an educational environment, often turning games and crafts into times of exploration and learning. She provides a large variety of nutritious meals and encourages the children to try new foods. Carla is invested in the children as individuals, helping them to grow and learn on their own timeline. She assists the child and their parents in achieving age-appropriate milestones, such as potty training. She encourages the children to interact positively with one another, teaching them to be kind and fair. At any given time, you can walk into Carla’s to find her snuggling with multiple children, as her lap is a favorite place to be amongst all the kiddos. Carla does so much more than “watch” children; she provides them a home away from home, a safe place to grow and develop, and a warm environment of encouragement and love.
