Our Teachers

Asia Miles, Program Founder

Ms. Asia conducted a comprehensive analysis of educational practices in various countries, leading to the realization that the most effective approach aligns with the natural way of life. With this knowledge, she established Asier (ah-seer) as a means to foster connections between children, families, and nature, laying the foundation for lifelong communities.

Ms. Asia’s extensive teaching experience of over 8 years encompasses working with hundreds of children from infancy to school age. Her leadership is guided by an interest-based curriculum, resonating with numerous families in Huntersville, Concord, Fort Mill, and Charlotte. Her professional background includes a multitude of child and family development training, including swim certifications and teaching honors.

“I am thrilled about the adventure that Asier Christian offers. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to my remarkable families for accompanying me on this remarkable journey.” - Ms. Asia

Testimonials

“We are so grateful for Asier Christian and Ms. Asia’s dedication to providing our children with a nurturing and educational environment. Our son has blossomed since starting at Asier, and we are constantly amazed at how much he is learning. He loves spending time in nature, and the hands-on activities and projects that Ms. Asia incorporates into her curriculum are always engaging and fun. We are so happy that we chose Asier for our son’s early education.” - The Smith Family

“Ms. Asia is an amazing teacher and the Asier Christian program is truly unique. Our daughter has thrived in this environment, and we have seen her develop into a confident and curious learner. The focus on nature and the outdoors has allowed our daughter to connect with the world around her in a way that we never could have imagined. We are so grateful for the positive impact that Asier Christian has had on our family.” - The Jones Family

Philosophy

(Ah-seer) Christian was created to hear parents and support children 100%. Asia saw the unnecessary pressure and stress traditional schools placed on its students and decided enough was enough.

Asier Christian is a place where parents can relax understanding their children are getting the quality care they need. Children at Asier are motivated, challenged, and prepared for the evolving world. We help them find their life paths in a fun way, all while spreading the love and care God first placed in us.

Asier may not give homework, require testing, or extreme bookwork, but we do have a community of curious learners ready to become great leaders of tomorrow! Students tackle life experiences as they’re faced with them. Ex: The B Team is faced with a dilemma. They want to build a boat but need to make it big enough to balance their team’s weight and not sink. That’s Asier! Students focus on doing, exploring their learning interests, and working through problems creatively.

School should be exciting and fun, even when faced with trials! There’s nothing our students (rhinos) can’t get through together. Show the children how fearless, caring, and awesome you are #parentsofrhinos Join Asier Christian today!

About our program

At our school, we teach the concepts of math and English literacy in a play-based way. We also have open-ended group discussions about Christianity, life skills, and overall health and wellness.

During this time we also implement journaling, outdoor discovery, and even morning yoga, so that children are able to work through all of their feelings. Our program is extremely unique because it functions like one big family that learns and laughs together.

Asier Christian encourages its students to think outside the box, to inquire and investigate, and to let inquisitiveness lead the way.

Fun Fact: We offer 3-day or 5-day school weeks.
