Our Teachers

Ms. Asia loves the color purple and has a pet bunny. She enjoys painting, swimming, and baking yummy treats to share. After eight rewarding years of Education studies in countries worldwide, she decided to open Juniper Sage Nursery!

Her amazing mother offers a helping hand when reading or singing with the children. She’s also the accountant and chef for JSN!

Philosophy

Juniper Sage Nursery embraces the Miles E.A.R.T.H. Method by Asia Miles, alongside a nurturing approach encompassing Earth, Attention, Religion, Trust, and Home elements. Their philosophy encourages children to become environmentalists, innovators, and community builders by providing real-world experiences and individualized, child-led curriculums. Inspired by educational practices such as Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori, Juniper Sage creates a harmonious environment where children learn to cooperate with nature, explore their interests, engage in faith-based activities, and cultivate trust within a big family dynamic that prioritizes learning and growth.

Juniper Sage Nursery is a full-time/part-time childcare facility in the provider’s home. Located a short drive from the Walmart in Kings Mountain, NC. 28086

About our program

Juniper Sage listens to the child’s curiosities and combines their needs with parents’ requests to make an educational plan for that child. We won’t follow a textbook curriculum or NC State Milestones because not every child is the same. Children should be able to go at their own pace while learning about things that interest them. We trust children to respect others and build their confidence, doing so allows them to trust us. Changes JSN has made to the previous education system have allowed us to accomplish more than we could imagine. We are thankful to our parents for believing in us!
