Yolanda Scott, Director
Yolanda graduated from the University of West Alabama in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education K-12 degree. In 2023, she received confirmation through her Pastor Charles L. Franklin from God to step out on faith and pursue her gift of working with kids as well as leadership abilities.Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that a small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Assistant Teacher Rose Scott is a 13 year retired Gulf War veteran who works primarily with the newborns to age 2. Mrs. Rose also have four years of teaching experience. She has been volunteering with Kingdomcare since our opening April 23, 2024.
Philosophy
Play-based daycare prioritizes learning through engaging activities and exploration, allowing children to develop skills and knowledge naturally through play. It emphasizes child-directed learning, social-emotional growth, and fostering a love for learning. My favorite is singing songs, dancing, or playing instruments, promoting rhythm, coordination, and creativity
Location
Our location is located near all the local hospitals, Neighborhood Walmart, a convenience store and a coin laundry. Our location is quiet,child friendly with two newly built playgrounds.

Once accepted:
- Pay a non-refundable once a year registration deposit of $100 in a Walmart money order payable to Kingdomcare Childcare. Cash payment is acceptable also.
