Our Teachers

I have over 20 years of experience working with children and am a mother of 3 young children. I earned my teaching license with an endorsement in special education and pre-k. I opened my in-home program after feeling that working in classrooms did not provide enough time and one on one attention to specifically work with each individual child and support their unique needs. I am very bubbly and try to focus on the positives in every situation and strive for happiness. This allows me to support children with happiness and love throughout all their days in my program. Love grows everything!

Philosophy

In our program, our curriculum stems from the Mississippi Department of Education Early Learning Standards, and our biggest focus is that children learn in a fun and loving environment. Children explore indoors & outdoors throughout the day, beginning with free play & circle time in the morning and physical activity. Throughout the day, children read books, sing songs, count, engage in finger play games, and most importantly, have fun! Children also have set work time with different centers that they can pick from to engage in various learning activities.

Location

We are located near the Umbrella Event Center & Dorothy’s Place Restaurant off Highway 7. Our neighborhood is quiet and established and safe.

About our program

In our program, we focus on children feeling safe in a loving environment and helping them to learn through having fun. We focus on helping each child to be school-ready. We meet them where they are and continue to elevate them to be academic-ready for school.
