Chelsy Bartholomew, Owner/Director
Chelsy is a Certified Child Care Director with course credits in Early Childhood Education and over 10 years of experience in child care. After the birth of her first son, she quickly realized that childcare was sparse in her area. She has always had a passion for children and decided that applying the knowledge she gained through both experience and education, to opening a home daycare was her true dream. Chelsy strives to ensure a safe and loving environment in which the children can shine bright. Although she has moved her location to a separate building than her home so that the children have more room for learning and play, she believes that small groups are the best option as it allows the children to have more one on one time with peers and teachers and makes for a more comfortable growing experience. Chelsy’s favorite thing about what she does is watching each child grow and develop and knowing that she had a post impact on their development.
Philosophy
Bright Beginnings Daycare is dedicated to providing a comfortable environment that allows each child to develop self-confidence, self-discipline, and a good self-image. My overall mission is to provide an encouraging and educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. I am committed to the families I serve and I strive to give peace of mind to parents while being seen as perfect example of what quality childcare should be. My overall goal is to provide each child with optimum opportunity to engage in their environment so that they may grow and flourish. I aim to teach appropriate basics for each age group as well as give the children as much independence as appropriate per age. I hope you will love your child attending here as much as I will love having them.
Location
Bright Beginnings Daycare is conveniently located right off of Hwy 52. This makes us idea for parents who travel to surrounding towns for work, as well as those who have school age children enrolled just right down the road at Miller County R3.
