Our Teachers

Gail Mitchell is the Owner I have been working with the department of childcare services for over 2 decades whether in a professional setting or in my own home setting. I have alway been dedicated to insuring that no child is left behind. Home Training is the most important quality to ensure that the child would be ready for the higher education all the way from K-12th grade to college.

Philosophy

At our home, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the Play based philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our home is experienced with a innovative teacher that is a veteran homemaker, happiness comes by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Location

My Location is in the Spanish Lake neighborhood it is a very private a well kept area that is close by nearby schools parks churches stores and libraries that we may go to at times as a field trip and the kids always enjoy going I also provide transportation to the nearby schools but depending on location for the schools further may require a extra fee. I can assure you that your child is in great hands.

About our program

The Kangaroo Pouch is a registered Home Daycare for preschoolers and school-aged children. They also participate in a subsidized child care program The Kangaroo Pouch Home Daycare, they offer weekly library visits and have parks nearby for all-day children to enjoy.
