Shalandrius Johnson, Director
Shalandrius Graduated from Three Rivers Community college in 2022 with an Associates of Health Science. In 2016, I started working in the Department of Mental Health Field, which I am still apart of. In 2018 I started my home childcare program to help young mothers in need of childcare. I have one Angel baby as well as 5 bonus children. Fun facts about me I love to care for others, I like crafting, and watching movies.
Philosophy
Our program, we strive to ensure we are creating a safe and caring community for children. This is a place where children can play, grow, and learn in the loving hands of our staff.
We believe that play is the foundation for learning and development. We provide numerous ways and opportunities that encourage the children to use their creativity, social skills, communication skills, safety skills, & ect. fostering a love for learning and a sense of accomplishments.
Location
Our location is 223 Marion Ave. Sikeston MO, 63801. We are located left off of Ables Road by the Southeast Elementary School. If you are coming off Malone, we are located to the right, down the road from Montogomery Bank.
About our program
JD’s Angel Child Care Program in Sikeston offers a unique approach with hands-on learning experiences, fostering cognitive and motor skill growth. Our dedicated team creates a supportive and enriching atmosphere for children’s development. Specializing in nurturing young minds, we focus on early childhood education with passion and care.
