Meet Ahjanea, a dynamic educator with a passion for empowering young minds. Graduating from Southern New Hampshire University with a management degree, she brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and real-world experience to her teaching practice. As a homeschooling mother of five, she intimately understands the diverse needs of today’s families.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Ahjanea is dedicated to providing exceptional educational opportunities. In January 2021, she founded Learning Quest Academy to offer families an alternative learning solution during uncertain times. What began as high-value online classes has evolved into a thriving local micro-school, driven by Ahjanea’s unwavering commitment to student success.

Ahjanea’s teaching philosophy is rooted in a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. She believes in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally. Witnessing the spark of understanding in her students’ eyes as they grasp new concepts brings her immense joy and fulfillment.

At Learning Quest Academy, we value thinking, creative space, play, family, and educational choice. Our goal is to see children thrive on their learning paths with the use of learning plans and individualized instruction. Learning Quest Academy values outdoor and nature-based learning where our students are engaged in outdoor exploration, projects, and giving back to the community.

Our greatest desire is to see the joy of learning sparked in each child so he/she can become a lifelong learner through curiosity, creativity, and personal pursuits. We strive to be a safe, fun place for families to learn, grow, and play. Learning Quest Academy will continue to be a place where student work is valued and their efforts make a difference in themselves and others.

Location

Located in the heart of the Spanish Lake neighborhood, Learning Quest Academy offers a cozy and inviting learning environment within a charming single-family home setting. Nestled just a few blocks away from Larimore Elementary School, our program provides convenient access for families in the area.

One of the unique features of our location is its proximity to nature. Our students can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with regular nature walks, thanks to the nearby Spanish Lake Park. Just a short stroll away, this picturesque park offers ample opportunities for exploration and outdoor learning experiences.

Join the Learning Quest Academy community in three easy steps:

1. Explore our website We’ve provided information about our philosophies and offerings to help you decide if our program may be right for your family.

2. Tour our program Come see what makes Learning Quest Academy unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start hosting tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option is not available, you can message the program director.

Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
