Our Teachers
Our educators are committed professionals passionate about early childhood development. Each caregiver undergoes rigorous training, including first aid and choking response, ensuring your child is in safe hands. Our team not only models and encourages good behavior and manners but also supports each child’s learning journey with sensitivity, patience, and enthusiasm.
We collaborate closely with families, embracing open communication to ensure consistency and partnership in each child’s development and milestones, from nutrition to potty training and beyond.
A message from our Director: “Since I was a young child myself, I have always loved children. I am opening Marjolene’s Family Child Care and Learning Center so that I can help my community with their child care needs. I look forward to teaching children how to read and write, helping to educate them through their developmental stages. Kansas City is home, and I am opening my childcare center in the NE community, where there are not a lot of childcare providers. My goal is to help the NE community have a safe and nurturing place to leave their children.”
Marjolene attended college in the Congo of Africa at The Official University of Bukavu (UOB), also known as Université Officielle de Bukavu, and is a public university in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo, where she studied pedagogy.
Assistance Teacher: Anna-Mwamba has a love for children and is fluent in English, French, and Swahili. She and I together will provide the best quality care to the children in our community as much as possible.

Hands-On Learning: Engaging experiential activities that encourage each child’s exploration and creativity.
Family Partnerships: Strong Relationships; Open Communication with parents.
Building Self-Confidence: Promoting independence, problem solving and understanding of self.
