Our Teachers

Mrs. Nikki: I am a certified teacher and mother to 4 beautiful children (Peyton, Jacob, McKenna, and Addison). I am also Yia Yia to two AMAZING granddaughters (Elaina and Eleanor). I left teaching in 2022 because I realized how hard it was for my daughters to find good child care and wanted to help them out. I didn’t realize how much I would fall in love with this job and love every second of it. I also didn’t realize how much every one of the children and their families would become family to me. I try to make my home a second home to these children. We love to do activities, themes, make TONS of messes, and learn lifelong skills. We follow an Early Learning curriculum and have weekly/bi-weekly themes. I look forward to your family joining my family in making these beautiful children amazing human beings!

Mrs. Jenny, I worked for Rockwood School District as a preschool teacher for years before staying home with my 4 beautiful children (Katie, Jack, Ellie, & Grace). I have my degree in psychology. I love being creative in a classroom, exploring new ideas and being imaginative with kiddos.

Nikki and Jenny are so like minded in our desire to provide an environment that is both a strong educational experience with a homey safe space. We look forward to getting to know your family!

Philosophy

Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your child! We understand that choosing one’s childcare arrangements is not something to be taken lightly. Therefore, we look forward to the opportunity to prove our excellent care to you and your child. We also anticipate building a strong, communicative relationship with you through positive daily interactions. Our goal at Lil’ Cyclones is to provide a learning environment that fosters positive social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.

Location

Lil’ Cyclone is located in Imperial MO in Seckman School District. We love to go for walks, and have a beautiful view of our subdivision lake in our backyard. There is a fence and the children are not able to get to the lake, and are safe from it, but can see the gorgeous view when we go outside and play.
