Our Teachers

CEO and lead teacher of A Grandmother’s Touch Childcare Mrs. LaVonna Long Cooper is a wife and mother and mother of two. She graduated high school in 2009 with a certificate in in early childhood from North Technical High School and later went on to early childhood education.

Co/founder and teacher Mrs. LaShawn H. Carson is a wife and mother of four currently studying a degree in nursing. She has worked with children for over three years and has a great passion for childcare.

Philosophy

At A Grandmother’s Touch Childcare, we believe that early childhood is a time of immense growth and discovery. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters their development and inspires their curiosity.

Location

AGT Childcare is located in a cozy, family and children friendly neighborhood. We are near highway 270 and Florissant fire department.
