Our Teachers

I am a mother of three (3) grown children and also a grandmother of three (3) children. I was a Nanny for four (4) years and provided exceptional care for two (2) families until their children attended school. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I love spending time with children and watching them grow and develop, just as I did with my own family.

Philosophy

Our childcare facility’s philosophy revolves around providing children with the freedom to play, socialize, and learn at their own pace, while also focusing on child development and learning through play. We aim to create a safe and nurturing environment that inspires growth and learning, emphasizing structure and a rich learning environment. Our goal is to offer a solid foundation for children’s overall development through a daily routine that promotes security and confidence. Additionally, we believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills through diverse and engaging activities that promote happiness and a love for learning. We also prioritize building strong social skills through encouraging positive interactions, cooperation, and empathy among children.

Location

We are located at: 47131 Greenview Rd. Shelby Township, MI.

About our program

Our early childhood program is designed to provide a holistic approach to development by focusing on social skills, art, dramatic play, music and movement, and books. We believe that these areas are essential for a child’s growth and well-being.

In our program, children are encouraged to interact and engage with their peers to develop strong social skills. Through various activities and games, they learn how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively in a group setting.

Art is a vital component of our program as it allows children to express their creativity and imagination. They have access to various art materials and are encouraged to explore different techniques and mediums. This helps them develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and a sense of self-expression.

Dramatic play is an integral part of our program as it fosters creativity and problem-solving skills. Children are given opportunities to engage in role-playing activities, dressing up, and creating their own narratives. This helps them develop their imagination, empathy, and socio-emotional skills.

Music and movement activities are incorporated into our program to promote physical development and coordination. Children participate in various music and dance activities that help them explore rhythm, movement, and self-expression. These activities also enhance their listening skills and cognitive abilities.

Books play a crucial role in our program as they foster a love for reading and language development. We provide a wide range of age-appropriate books and encourage children to explore different genres and stories. Storytelling sessions and group reading activities are also organized to enhance their language skills and imagination.

Overall, our early childhood program focuses on providing a well-rounded and stimulating environment where children can develop their social skills, nurture their creativity, express themselves through various art forms, engage in imaginative play, explore music and movement, and develop a love for reading.
