Our Teachers

My Name is Stephanie Coy. I am a mother of one amazing 14 year old who is very active in the Perry Community. He plays Snare drum for the marching band, is part of the FFA, he is on the basketball team and will be playing golf for Perry High School this year. I also have a beautiful baby girl, she is 1.5 and keeps us on our toes! Working with children is no new thing for me. Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. I spent many hours “teaching” my baby dolls. I was part of the preschool program at Howell High School where I graduated from. Upon graduation life took me on a different path and I chose to study Dental Hygiene. I graduated from Mott Community College and have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 10 years. I always loved my job, but the passion I wanted to feel for my career was lacking. I went down to part time and started nannying for 12 week old twin baby boys, and realized I loved it. Upon doing some research as well as some serious soul searching, we decided I could fulfill my long lost desire to teach as well as be at home with our youngest by opening an in Home DayCare. To say I am excited to spend my days playing and teaching with these amazing kiddos would be an understatement. I am grateful to my fiance for believing in me and helping me fulfill my dreams. I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know the community and being part of these special children’s lives

Testimonials

Stephanie started watching my daughter for me a few months ago and she is fantastic! I was nervous because I had never left my daughter with anyone besides family and after meeting with her I felt totally comfortable. She’s easy to get a hold of and great with communication. My daughter always comes home exhausted from play time and ready for a good nap 🙂 100% recommend her 😊

Stephanie, started to watch my twin boys when they were 3 months old. She has done a fantastic job. As they have grown she works each day on a new skill. My boys just love her and her daughter. I was nervous as a new mom leaving my kids and she made it easy to do so, with how much love and care she gave them. We really appreciate her! 5 out 5

Philosophy

As a mom I am fully aware of how hard it is to leave your little one while you go to work everyday. It is my goal as their daycare provider to make both you and your child completely comfortable with being in my home. Your child will be loved and cared for as though they are one of my own. We will laugh and play while learning and having lots of adventures along the way. I do ask that you are patient with me, parenting is not new to me, but running a daycare is. I have so many ideas on how I want my daycare to be ran, many I will slowly start implementing and many I will likely throw out. The first few months there will be many changes as I fine tune my program, but what will never change is that your child will always be shown kindness and love, they will be safe, we will have so much fun as we learn and grow, that will never change

Location

We are located in the heart of downtown Perry. Only a couple of blocks from the library, which means frequent trips! We are also less than a mile from Perry Public Schools, which can make drop off very convenient!

About our program

At our daycare, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through a mixture of play based and structured curriculum. We believe children do best with structure and routine, as well as having some space to explore and learn on their own. Outside play is a must in our home when weather permits. We have monthly themes that will keep us learning and growing, while having so much fun!
