Philosophy

The LOVE philosophy

At Love Begins with Elle, our philosophy is embodied by LOVE, guiding every aspect of our unique educational approach.

L is for Liberation & Learning: We champion a liberating environment where children are empowered to freely express themselves and actively participate in shaping their own learning journeys. We believe in throwing out rigid traditions, allowing children the autonomy to explore their interests and discover their passions, as long as their choices are safe and respectful of others. This freedom fosters genuine curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.

O is for Openness & Opportunity: We cultivate an open and welcoming setting where every child feels secure and valued. This openness creates a brave space for children to take risks, make choices, and learn from their experiences. We focus on providing ample opportunities for children to discover and develop their strengths, nurturing their individual talents rather than dwelling on perceived weaknesses.

V is for Valued & Vibrant: Every child is valued for who they are, fostering a strong sense of self and individuality. Our dedicated educators create a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates each child’s unique contributions. While understanding the need for structure, we prioritize flexibility, allowing children to move and learn in ways that resonate with their natural inclinations, promoting holistic growth.

E is for Empowerment & Excellence: We are committed to empowering the youngest learners, providing them with the tools and confidence to navigate their educational journey. Our specialized approach sets a strong foundation, encouraging children to develop self-reliance and critical thinking. By embracing their individuality and fostering a positive self-image, we guide them toward their own personal excellence and a bright future.

Location

Our location is nestled in Newport, Michigan. We’re part of the excellent Airport and Jefferson School District, with easy access to I-75 and I-275, making commutes to and from Downriver Michigan and Monroe a breeze.

About our program

At Love Begins With Elle, children flourish in a welcoming setting, guided by dedicated educators. Our focus is on creating a safe space where kids can freely express themselves, fostering growth and individuality. With a specialized approach to nurturing the youngest learners, we set the foundation for a bright educational journey. Our goal is to throw out tradition and let children do what they want as long as it’s safe and doesn’t negatively impact others. We want to focus on a child’s strengths instead of highlighting their weaknesses. It is understood that children need structure but they also need the freedom to help shape their own learning and growing pathways.
