Our Teachers
Our director is a 29-year-old mom of two! Shelby has a daughter who is 7 years old and a son who will be two at the end of November! Shelby’s children have inspired her to revisit her early childhood education experience and turn it into a career. She has 4 years’ experience in early childhood education achieved through a dual program in her high school where she obtained her CDA and was an assistant preschool teacher. In the future Shelby is planning to renew her CDA credentials and expand her facilities offerings.
Shelby’s rewarding interactions with her own children and her villages children have inspired her to leave the manufacturing setting after 6.5 years and open an in-home group childcare program. Shelby believes in developing intentional, nurturing, individualized, relationships with the children and families in her care. She believes an in-home facility offers children and families the ability to develop strong, stainable, supportive, family-rooted foundations for development in their early years.
Let me provide the family rooted care your children need to put your mind at ease, while you work to provide for the family you have created.
