Our Teachers
Hello my name is Tana, I have worked and loved my career path since 2014. I have specialized training with infants and autism, as well as worked towards a degree in early childhood education learning developmental milestones and how to best listen to our children to meet their individual needs. I love working with children in my community and area because I grew up with a troubled childhood and have learned over time and experience that there is a whole other way to rear children and to help families prosper through everyday challenges. I love that my career helps me to reach out on a community level and platform to provide a different outlook on our hometown. We have so many young and bright minds and I am excited and blessed to be able to have the opportunity to be a positive role model. It’s nice to meet you and your family and welcome
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together.
We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
Location
Our neighborhood is important to me, part of a history of Muskegon and downtown areas the home is located in a rural area with schools and parks within walking distance. There are several in home daycares in the area along with a new daycare center which adds more to the community. All the parks in the area have been recently updated and offer bathrooms. I love this community because not only has there been improvements but there’s room for more growth in due time and this daycare adds to the value and culture of positivity as well offer more opportunities for the next generation.
