Ms. Janet is an exceptional childcare provider with an impressive 24 years of experience working with children, and is a mother of 6 children. Her journey began as a foster parent, where she dedicated nine years of her life to providing a loving and nurturing environment for children in need. This experience ultimately led to her adopting one child. Ms. Janet’s passion for child development and education led her to work at Head Start, where she honed her skills and knowledge in early childhood education. Currently, she operates a home-based childcare program. With her Early Childhood Certification and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep, parents can trust that their children are in safe hands. Ms. Janet’s love for her job stems from the joy she experiences watching each child’s unique personality blossom and grow under her care. The happiness and fulfillment she finds in their daily interactions are truly unmatched.
Philosophy
Our childcare program is designed to engage children in hands-on learning experiences that promote active participation and involvement. We believe that children learn best when they are up and moving, which is why we offer a wide range of activities to keep them engaged. From music and arts to educational programs like PBS kids, our program ensures that children have access to a variety of learning opportunities. For older children, we focus on more direct learning experiences that help build foundational skills such as letters and numbers. Our goal is to create an environment where children are constantly learning something new, all while having fun and enjoying their time at our childcare program.
Location
I’m located I’m the Beecher/Mount Morris area, fenced in yard, play area located in back yard which includes 15 foot trampoline, swimming pool also power wheels and bikes of all sizes. Some outdoor and indoor toys with games. Close to elementary and high school also is close to public transportation.
