Our Teachers

All Lead Teachers have their CDA, and additional staff obtain or are working towards their Michigan Youth Certificate. All faculty are CPR and First Aide certified. Our center focuses on the individual growth of each staff member, and we work to offer individualized learning opportunities to help them continue to grow professionally and offer the best care. We are proud to have a diverse staff, including multiple male staff members. They all have a passion and love for children that shines through each day as they work with our children.

Philosophy

I strongly believe that helping children learn grow and develop at their own pace and at different stages in their lives ignites my passion to teach. I seek to treat children as capable individuals who will one day grow into productive citizens. I believe that the environment has the potential to stimulate a child’s imagination and enhance creativity. My goal is to help children that I care for develop a positive self -esteem, problem solving and socialization skills and a true love of learning through everyday play opportunities. We believe that it takes a village to raise a child- so let’s do it together.

About our program

At our childcare center, we believe in creating an inclusive and accepting environment where all children and families feel safe and supported. We celebrate all things big in small, from birthdays to little wins and growth throughout the day. We understand that every child is unique and has their own individual needs, and our program focuses on educating the whole child. We strive to create a village that supports not only the child but also the entire family. We have created relationships with community partners to provide information and resources such as dance classes, kindergarten readiness information, and books for children. We are proud of the strong community and relationships that we foster, and we see ourselves as a valuable resource for both parents and children. Proactivity is at the core of our actions, and we prioritize clear communication between our teachers and families. Ensuring the child’s success and well-being is our highest priority, and we are committed to providing a caring and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
