Our Teachers

Beatrice is a dedicated home-based childcare provider who has been running her own program since 2022. After leaving a successful career in healthcare, she decided to pursue her passion for working with children. With a Bachelor’s Degree under her belt and currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in early childhood education, Beatrice is committed to providing the best possible care and education for the children under her watch. Beyond her professional qualifications, Beatrice’s love for children is evident in the way she interacts with them. She has been involved in the children’s ministry at her church for years and has been caring for children in various capacities throughout her life. Beatrice’s natural ability to connect with children makes her a beloved figure in her community, and parents trust her implicitly with the care of their little ones.

Philosophy

Play-based learning in early childhood is an educational approach that focuses on allowing children to learn through play and exploration rather than structured teaching methods. D Point childcare utilizes play-based learning where children are encouraged to engage in hands-on activities, creative play, and social interactions to develop their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills. Typical learning activities include crafts, coloring, building with blocks, and imaginative play. Our program embraces this philosophy and provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow through play. By fostering a sense of independence and encouraging collaboration among children of different ages, Beatrice’s program creates a dynamic and enriching learning experience for all participants.

Location

We are located in a quiet and friendly residential neighborhood in the Parchment School District. We have a fenced in yard for children to explore and play outdoors.
