Our Teachers

Hello, my name is Rylee DeJong, as the owner and director, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development and have over 10 years of experience working with children, including 7+ years supporting children with disabilities. I spent five years in the classroom before following my heart to create a nurturing in-home daycare where children can thrive. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, and deeply passionate about nurturing the young minds of the next generation. The idea for my program was inspired by my own son—when I couldn’t find a setting that felt just right for him, I decided to build one myself. Now, I’m able to combine homeschooling and socialization in a warm, home-based environment designed with love and intention.

I am delighted to welcome you and your child into our program. My daycare is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. I believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Through a play-based, child-centered approach, we support both intellectual and emotional development, working closely with families to build a strong community that celebrates each child’s unique potential.

Philosophy

Our Philosophy: We envision a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where young children develop a lifelong love for learning. Our approach is rooted in warmth, respect, and joyful exploration. Through hands-on experiences and play-based discovery, we cultivate curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. We believe each child is unique and capable, and we are dedicated to supporting their individual growth at their own pace. By fostering strong social-emotional skills and a sense of independence, We prepare children not only for academic success, but also for meaningful relationships and resilient, thoughtful living.

Our Mission: Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating early childhood environment that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and physical development of every child. We strive to:

  • Encourage independent thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Support social and emotional growth through meaningful interactions

  • Foster creativity and imagination through hands-on learning experiences

  • Partner with families to create a strong and supportive home–school connection

Location

Our program is located in a quiet, family-friendly area that provides a safe and peaceful setting for children to learn and play. The area is small and community-oriented, offering a sense of comfort and familiarity. Our home is well maintained and thoughtfully designed with children’s needs in mind. We have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and security cameras for added peace of mind. Families can feel confident knowing their children are cared for in a calm, nurturing, and secure environment.
