I earned my Associates in Human Services and will continue my education until I earn my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. But more importantly I haven learned the “art” of children as a mother of four: age range of 10-2 years. I have learned a lot over the years with my kids. I now realize that each child develops, learns, and plays in their own way and you have to be flexible to accommodate each child’s needs.
Philosophy
I would like to heavily focus on curriculum through play. For example, building blocks to build gross motor skills, age approved science projects, water play, etc. My values are to have not only my children, but children in my care to have a safe, happy, and healthy environment that is conducive to growing and learning.
About our program
My program is unique in the sense that I offer high quality care that encourages learning and growing. At the Learning Tree we learn through play, activities, and field trips when possible. Every child is uniquely special and learn in different way and I will always accommodate their learning style.
