Hello! I’m Shaniqua “Niqua”, and I’ve been passionately caring for and nurturing children for nearly my entire life. As the eldest in my family, I naturally took on a motherly role, looking after my younger cousins and siblings from a young age. This early experience sparked my lifelong love for helping children grow and thrive.
Though my career journey initially took me through fields like Psychology, dental assisting, and CNA work, I quickly realized my true calling was in working with children. I spent my weekends organizing fun, engaging activities for family and friends, and it became clear that guiding children in their development was where my heart was.
In May 2018, I had the wonderful opportunity to help my aunt with childcare for my cousins when she moved back to Michigan. It was a moment of serendipity – my childcare provider number, which I had obtained when I was 16, was still active. This marked the beginning of my professional childcare journey.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of being an official, Licensed childcare provider in Michigan for over 18 years, and I’ve been running my own daycare since 2018. During this time, I’ve helped countless families and supported children in becoming well-prepared for school and life.
What began as a passion has now grown into a fulfilling career, and I am so grateful every day for the opportunity to nurture young minds and provide them with a safe, loving, and educational environment.

With access to the public bus line and numerous schools offering pickup and drop-off services, including Kearsley and Flint Community Schools, our location provides both ease and accessibility for busy families.
