Our Teachers

My name is Aritha Davis, and after spending the past 19 years caring for my grandchildren, as well as taking in my nephew at a very young age, I have decided to open my own child care program. Throughout these years, I have come to realize the importance of dependable and trustworthy child care providers. Witnessing firsthand the impact of nurturing and supportive care on a child’s development, I am determined to create a safe and loving environment where parents can confidently leave their little ones. With my extensive experience and genuine passion for childcare, I am excited to embark on this new journey and provide a reliable and nurturing space for children to grow and thrive.

Philosophy

At Champions Child Care, we firmly believe in the power of play as a fundamental tool for children’s learning and development. We understand that play provides endless opportunities for children to explore, create, problem-solve, and develop important skills. We also recognize and appreciate the fact that each child is a unique individual with their own distinct personality, interests, and learning styles. By embracing and celebrating these differences, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Through our play-based curriculum and dedication, we aim to foster a love for learning, inspire curiosity, and lay a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Location

Champions Child Care is located three blocks from Hamady High School. McMonagle Elementary School is nine minutes away.

About our program

In my child care, every child will be loved, included, and respected. I firmly believe in treating each child as if they were my own, providing them with a nurturing and supportive environment. I will prioritize teaching them essential life skills, such as etiquette, self-care, and respect for one another. By instilling these values, I aim to foster their personal growth and development while also promoting a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere. Each child will be encouraged to embrace their unique qualities and talents, and they will be celebrated for their individuality. Together, we will create a space where all children feel valued, supported, and empowered to become their best selves.
