Debra Wood, program owner has a bachelor’s degree in human services, and a background of working with children for over 20 years. I believe my passion for children started when I was a teenager. i would babysit for my mother friends. When I became a mother I decided to open a daycare in my home, while being a stay at home mom. Later in life I went back to school along with several daycare trainings to improve my skills. I want my daycare to be a safe stress free place for children and their parents.
Philosophy
My program is centered around providing safe quality childcare in a loving atmosphere. The goal is to give the children a nurturing environment, and build social and emotional bonds while they are in a new place and away from their parents.
About our program
Our program is all about providing quality childcare in a home setting. While in this home setting, we provide love, attention play and some learning skills as well. The children are expected to feel at home.
Admissions
Our admissions process is scheduling an enrollment interview with the provider or staff member. During the interview the staff member will review the parent handbook, contract and other policies with the family. The parent will introduce the child/children to the provider. The parent will take a tour of the daycare home.
