Our Teachers

Inspired by my upbringing, where my mother provided childcare to multiple children, I’ve cultivated a deep passion for nurturing and supporting young minds. With six siblings, all of whom have children of their own, I’ve been actively involved in their lives since birth, providing care and guidance whenever needed. This hands-on experience, combined with my own journey as a parent, has shaped my approach to childcare. With years of practical experience and a commitment to fostering a safe, loving, and enriching environment, I’m dedicated to ensuring every child in my care feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Philosophy

At Taylor Tots Playcare , I believe in providing a warm, play-based environment where children feel safe, loved, and supported while their parents are at work. I recognize each child as a unique individual, deserving of a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere to grow emotionally, mentally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I believe that children learn best through hands-on play experiences that are tailored to their developmental stage and interests. As the sole caregiver, my role is to observe, listen, and engage with each child, guiding them through their explorations and discoveries. I aim to foster a sense of curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child. In cultivating the environment, I prioritize creating inviting play spaces that are filled with age-appropriate toys, materials, and activities that encourage exploration and learning. From sensory bins to art supplies to imaginative play areas, the environment is designed to spark children’s imaginations and promote their holistic development. Children in my care will experience a balance of structured and unstructured play, with opportunities for both individual and group activities. They will learn to respect themselves and others, develop empathy and social skills, and gain confidence in their abilities. I believe in teaching values such as kindness, compassion, and responsibility through modeling and positive reinforcement. Parental involvement is highly valued, and open communication is encouraged to ensure that each child’s needs and interests are met. I celebrate children’s achievements and support them in learning from their mistakes, fostering a growth mindset and a love for lifelong learning. In summary, at Taylor Tots Playcare, children will experience a nurturing, play-based environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
