Vernisha is a woman who has always had a passion for working with children. She grew up in a small town in the Midwest and from a young age, she would often volunteer at the local daycare center. As she got older, her passion for working with children only grew stronger, and she knew that she wanted to make it her life’s work.
After graduating from high school, Vernisha decided to pursue a degree in theology. While studying, she continued to volunteer at various daycare centers and schools, gaining valuable experience working with children of all ages. After completing her degree, she decided to take a break from school and began working full-time at a daycare center in her hometown.
Over the years, Vernisha gained a wealth of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to toddlers to preschoolers. She learned how to create engaging and educational activities to help children learn and grow, and she quickly became known as one of the most talented daycare workers in the area.
In 2010, Vernisha decided to take her passion for working with children to the next level and opened her own daycare center, Vernisha’s Little Ladybugs Daycare. The center quickly became a popular destination for parents in the area, and Vernisha’s reputation as a skilled and caring caregiver only continued to grow.
Today, Vernisha is still the owner of Vernisha’s Little Ladybugs Daycare, and she has more than 6 years of experience running the center. She is also working towards completing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, which she hopes to finish by July of 2023.
Vernisha’s favorite activity with children is teaching them new things and helping them grow. She loves to read to them, teach them new words and concepts, and watch as they discover the world around them. Outside of work, Vernisha enjoys writing books, and in October of 2022, she published her first book, which quickly became a bestseller.
Vernisha is a dedicated and passionate caregiver who has dedicated her career to helping children learn and grow. She is beloved by the children and parents at Vernisha’s Little Ladybugs Daycare, and she continues to inspire and encourage those around her every day.

We believe in the development of the total child and focusing on the children as individuals, allowing them to grow and develop at their own pace.
In the importance of learning through play, realizing the importance of discovery, creativity and exploration. That children are able to learn best when they are in a safe, friendly and nurturing environment. That nurturing staff provide an atmosphere where trust, self esteem and confidence in one’s abilities are built. That children learn best through educational experiences that are developmentally appropriate. That parents are a vital part of the learning process. That a collaborative approach should be taken to education that children learn from each other as well as role models.
