Tyqueta Wade, Director
Tyqueta graduated from, Livingstone College located in Sailsbury NC c/o 2004 with a B.A in psychology. Tyqueta has a background in Family Preservation, Child Protection Services and Advocating for low-income families geared towards supporting childcare partnerships. In 2023 she realized her dream of having her home childcare program after spending time in the classroom and supporting the surrounding community. She believes that small class sizes and the development of a strong community will allow her to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young creative explorers. Our program is a place where children can focus at their own pace in a environment that promotes independence, exploration and hands on learning.
We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. This is why this childcare home creates a space based on a child centered learning environment for creative choices in learning by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
