Our Teachers

Ashley Campbell, the founder and director of Little Scholars Learning Academy, has been a certified teacher for more that fourteen years. Before opening Little Scholars, she taught first grade for four years, young fives for ten years, and early childhood special education for one year.

Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University and a master’s degree from Michigan State University. She also holds certification as an Education Specialist in Early Childhood Education.

Ashley is passionate about early childhood education and is excited to offer families a nurturing environment that fosters both social emotional and academic growth.

Philosophy

At Little Scholars Learning Academy, we believe that learning through play and exploration sparks natural curiosity and fosters a lifelong love for learning. We offer developmentally appropriate activities that encourage our students to become curious, confident, and competent learners.

Location

Little Scholars Learning Academy is located in the heart of Corktown, Detroit! We are housed within the historical St. Vincent building, which is directly across from the Book Depository Building. You can use the transit for drop off and pick up.
