Our Teachers
Hi, my name is Ms. Wade and I run a family childcare program. I’m a mother of four and a grandmother of two, so I have plenty of experience with little ones! I’ve been working with children for over 30 years, and it has been my full-time job since 2016. Before that, I was a medical assistant, but my true passion has always been for my own children and my community. I love being a part of their lives and helping them grow and learn. Safety is always a top priority for me, which is why I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for the children in my care.
Philosophy
Our home childcare program is centered around play based learning, where children are given the freedom to explore and learn through play. Play based learning is a child-centered approach that recognizes the natural instinct of children to play, and leverages this to foster their development. It encourages children to engage in hands-on activities, pretend play, and problem-solving games that promote critical thinking and creativity. In our program, children are encouraged to make decisions, learn from their mistakes, and try again, creating a nurturing environment that supports their overall growth and development.
Location
We are located off I-96 freeway and davison fwy. There is easy access to public transportation which includes grand river bus stops and wyoming bus stops. We are tight knit community that participates in a neighborhood watch as well as block club in which I am a part of, families are always welcomed.
About our program
Ms. Wade’s home based childcare program, which has been in operation since 2016, provides a nurturing and welcoming environment for children and families. The program is designed to make children feel as though they are at their home away from home. With a strong focus on social and academic growth, the program utilizes play-based activities to encourage development. Within this physically and emotionally healthy setting, children feel safe and secure, knowing that they are loved and cared for.
