Ms. Debora, Director As a mother of two and a grandmother of three, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. It was through taking care of my own granddaughter that I realized my passion for nurturing and guiding young minds. This led me to start my own home-based childcare program. With my CPR and First Aid certification, I prioritize the safety and well-being of every child in my care. It brings me immense joy to witness the growth and progress of these little ones, as they learn, explore, and develop their unique personalities. Being a childcare provider is not just a job for me; it is a privilege to be a part of their journey and make a positive impact on their lives.
Philosophy
Our program is designed to provide a holistic learning experience for children through play-based learning. We understand the importance of play in a child’s development, and therefore, our curriculum is focused on providing a balance between structured learning time and engaging play activities. Whether it’s games or free play, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences. For instance, when children engage in block play, they are not only building structures but also identifying shapes, colors, and practicing counting skills. By integrating play into learning, we aim to make education enjoyable and foster a love for learning in our young learners.
Location
We are located conveniently off of Greenfield and Plymouth. We are located within walking distance of a local park that we visit often and children love exploring and playing here! There is a wonderful playground and equipment for children of all ages that they can enjoy.
About our program
Our home-based childcare program is dedicated to providing a nurturing and comfortable environment for children. We understand the importance of spending time outdoors and make it a priority to visit the local park several days a week, allowing the children to explore and engage in physical activities. We firmly believe in the power of nature and strive to spend as much time outside as possible. What sets our program apart is our strong foundation in caring for family member’s children. When new families join us, they can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they become part of our extended family. Our program fosters a sense of community, creating a supportive and loving environment for all children under our care.
