Theresa Dowdell:
I have been a teacher for 9 years and have also worked as a nanny and in childcare. Now, I have opened my own childcare center. I hold a master’s degree in educational leadership, which has equipped me to lead educational programs and create enriching environments for children. On top of that, I’ve been a mom for 8 years, which has given me a personal perspective on child development and what both children and parents need to thrive.
Philosophy
At Culture Childcare Center we are committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. My program is built on values that emphasize personal growth, creativity, and hands-on learning. While we follow a structured curriculum focusing on early literacy, math, and social skills development, I also prioritize the whole child by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional well-being. I believe in giving children the opportunity to explore their interests, discover new passions, and develop essential skills, all within a safe and caring space. Working closely with families is important to me, and I strive to build a strong partnership between home and school to meet each child’s unique needs.
Location
We are located in Russell Woods/Nardin Park area. We are located near several character school as well.
