Our Teachers

Angela Jones, Program Director

I’m passionate about helping young children grow and develop in their early years. I have a strong educational background in early childhood development, with an associate degree and a bachelor degree in the field. I’m dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for my little ones, and I’m constantly developing new strategies and activities to ensure their growth and progress. I’m also committed to staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and research in early childhood development. I believe that by investing in the youngest members of our community, we can truly make a positive difference in the world.

Philosophy

Providing children in my care with health and safety is of utmost importance. I follow the High Scope approach which emphasizes active learning and development through hands-on experiences. I ensure that the environment is safe and secure for children to explore and engage in meaningful activities. I provide a supportive, nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to learn and develop. I ensure that they get plenty of exercise and fresh air and that they get enough nutrition. Finally, I make sure that all materials and activities used in the classroom are age-appropriate and safe for the children.
