Philosophy

The philosophy of Little Angels is learning through fun and play. We invite many teachable moments by enriching their lives with stories, music, arts and crafts, games, dramatic play, and a variety of toys, including many manipulatives for developing fine motor skills and cognitive thinking. They also learn the importance of sharing, patience and socialization, and mutual respect. Education is extremely important, and yet children will spend the rest of their young lives in a formal school setting. We provide a balance of educational experiences in a nurturing home environment where kids are not separated from their siblings. Al the children interrelate like one big happy family. My preschool is large enough to provide plenty of interaction with other children yet small enough to meet individual needs with tender loving care. They develop a life long love of learning while knowing how much they are loved.

About our program

We furnish a variety of hands on activities and sensory input to address visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. Each month we concentrate on several themes, concepts and skills through a great preschool program that teaches the basics: fine/gross motor skills, color/shape recognition, number recognition/beginning math skills, science, writing, letter recognition, etc. We incorporate additional instruction with a strong emphasis on phonics and pre-reading skills. Research correlates strong literacy development with greater achievement in school. They learn to be self-reliant, and proficient in all the skills necessary to enter Kindergarten at the top of their class, including knowing how to read!
