My name is Mrs. Talisa Maxfield. I graduated from CMU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development and Learning. I previously taught Preschool for 5 years and then decided I wanted to open my own daycare. I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as spending time on the lake and other outdoor activities.
Philosophy
I believe in a play based curriculum, Through play, children can develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and communication skills, which are essential for success in the future. My role is to guide their learning by asking open-ended questions, providing materials, and creating a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow.
