I have been a licensed childcare provider for over 13 years. I attended GRCC for Child development, before I started child care I was licensed MA (medical assistant) I am very passionate about working with children! I love the energy they bring and being able to see them grow and develop new skills everyday is a great experience.
Philosophy
The early years of a child’s life are so important! I believe learning is happening all the time and is interwoven through all developmental domains. These include: physical, social/emotional cognitive and communication. Therefore, the goal of my program is to make this ongoing learning experience safe, and fun, nurturing the whole child as I strive to guide them into the next stage of development with confidence in themselves and an excitement for continued learning.
Location
We are located in Caledonia, 84th/Patterson area, in a single family home, with an easy access and exit driveway. Our home sits far off the road. We have a large playground with a mud kitchen in our enclosed backyard.
About our program
I believe that every child should be treated with love and respect, in a safe, clean, nurturing environment. My goal is to make sure your child has the comforts of home, while being away from home. The children are here to have fun, learn, make new friends and explore their world. No child shall be pushed to learn but to learn at their own pace while being encouraged and acknowledged of their achievements. Children learn through play and discovery. Play is one of the best brain-body exercises, helping a child build self-regulation while integrating a range of sensations, ideas and emotions in fun and appealing ways children enjoy.
