Our Teachers

Jessica Harris, Program Director Working with children brings me immense joy and satisfaction. I enjoy watching them grow and learn new things every day. Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and it’s always a delight to see them excited about something they’ve accomplished. Seeing the world through their eyes brings a fresh perspective to life, and it’s a privilege to be a part of their journey. Whether it’s teaching them a new skill, playing games, or just spending time with them, working with children is a fulfilling experience that I cherish deeply.

Philosophy

Children are natural learners and play is an integral part of their learning process. Through play, children are able to develop their cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills in a fun and engaging way. Play creates opportunities for children to explore, experiment, problem-solve, and develop creativity and imagination. They also learn to interact with others, develop communication skills, and learn how to share and cooperate with their peers. Play helps children to develop a sense of self-awareness and self-esteem as they learn to take risks, make decisions, and learn from their mistakes. Whether it’s playing with blocks, dolls or engaging in imaginative play, children learn important life skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
