Our Teachers

Julianna has been teaching pre-school/pre-k for over 10 years, and holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Quinsigamond Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Youth Education from Becker College. I have always loved working with young children and have dreamt of being a mom my whole life. A dream that recently became a reality. My daughter, Adeline, was born earlier this year. I am so excited to teach her alongside your little ones!

Philosophy

At The Early Learning Center on Hanson, we provide a warm and welcoming environment that is similar to home. This helps children feel more comfortable and at ease. Your child will have more individualized attention and care as we get to know your child’s unique needs and interests. We focus on the needs of each child providing them with many opportunities along with a more personalized and intimate child care experience for your child.

Our curriculum is based on the premise that children are naturally curious about their environment. Play is an essential component of our program. Through play, in a well-arranged and enriched environment, children learn about themselves and their capabilities. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters positive self- esteem, builds confidence, and allows children to take risks in their learning.

We believe in empowering children by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems.

Children need and desire plenty of time to explore their environment. They will gain knowledge and understanding from the activities presented to them. Children’s interactions with each other build a sense of community and belonging. Through guided discovery and hands-on learning, children will be involved in a fully integrated curriculum. Learning activities in literacy, science, math, creative arts, social science, and history are embedded throughout the day.

At The Early Learning Center on Hanson, we will build the foundation of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills necessary for success in school and in life.

About our program

In our classroom, we deeply value play-based learning as a cornerstone of our philosophy. Our primary goal is to nurture children’s social and emotional skills, enhance their creativity and imagination, and foster cognitive development through hands-on experiences. To achieve this, we meticulously designed our classroom environment to be calming and inviting, minimizing the risk of overstimulation. We frequently rotate toys and activities to keep children engaged and maintain their interests . This approach ensures that each child remains excited about learning. Additionally, our commitment to providing substantial one-on- one teaching and care allows us to cater to the unique needs of every child, fostering a nurturing and supportive learning atmosphere. we aim to create a foundation for lifelong curiosity and a love of learning.
