Meet Our Little Lights Family

At Cleveland Christian Academy: Little Lights, caring for children isn’t just what we do — it’s our calling. Every day, we have the privilege of pouring love, faith, and encouragement into the lives of the little ones entrusted to us. Our team shares one heart and one mission: to help children grow into confident, kind, and capable individuals who know they are deeply loved by God.

Keila Cleveland – Owner & Director Keila has been caring for children for many years, but for her, this work has always been more than a job — it’s a ministry. With an early childhood education degree, teacher certification, and first aid/CPR training, she combines professional expertise with a nurturing, faith-filled heart. Keila believes every child is uniquely created by God and should be encouraged to learn, explore, and grow in a safe, joyful environment.

Charity Puzon – Teacher Charity brings joy, warmth, and creativity into every classroom moment. She has a deep love for books and is about to publish her very first one, inspiring others with her gift for storytelling. Charity also plays the ukulele, and her music fills the room with smiles and laughter. First aid/CPR certified and dedicated to her students, she creates a learning space where children feel safe, loved, and inspired.

Abigail Milner – Art Teacher Abigail believes that every child has an artist inside them waiting to be discovered. With her first aid/CPR certification and a passion for the arts, she introduces children to painting, drawing, and creative projects that spark both imagination and confidence. Her classes are filled with color, encouragement, and opportunities for children to express the beautiful creativity God has placed in them.

When you walk into Little Lights, you’ll feel more than just a school — you’ll feel a family. We celebrate milestones, guide children through challenges, and cheer them on every step of the way. It is our joy and honor to partner with parents in helping their children grow in wisdom, character, and faith.

Filosofía

Our Philosophy

At Cleveland Christian Academy: Little Lights, we believe that early childhood is a precious season of life where faith, learning, and joy can flourish together. Our program is rooted in the truth that every child is wonderfully made by God, with unique gifts and a special purpose. We see our role as a partnership with families — coming alongside parents to nurture each child’s growth academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

We use a biblically-integrated curriculum that blends strong academic foundations with hands-on, play-based learning. Children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and engage in activities that stimulate creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Our daily routines include prayer, Bible stories, and Scripture memorization, helping children grow in their understanding of God’s love.

Our core values shape every part of our program:

Faith – Teaching and modeling God’s truth in all we do.

Love – Creating a safe, caring environment where every child feels valued and secure.

Excellence – Providing high-quality instruction and care that fosters lifelong learning.

Character – Guiding children to be kind, respectful, and responsible.

We believe children thrive when they are surrounded by consistent love, clear boundaries, and rich opportunities for exploration. Our goal is to prepare them not only for school success but for a life of faith, joy, and purpose.
