Philosophy
Preschool Preschool at ECS strives to create a positive environment that inspires children to be creative and imaginative, recognizing each child as a precious gift created by God. Students explore learning concepts through purposeful play and hands-on structured and non-structured activities in literacy, math, Bible, art, and music.
Pre-Kindergarten At ECS, students are preparing for kindergarten through strategic learning experiences led by passionate teachers in a Christ-centered environment. Whether students are learning about math or music, they are taught from a Biblical perspective, fostering spiritual development in an age-appropriate way.
The core content in Pre-Kindergarten, with a focus on phonics-based language and comprehensive math concepts, are taught daily. Students explore learning concepts through purposeful play and hands-on structured and non-structured activities.
About our program
ECS offers full-day classes at our Crossroads Campus inside Crossroads Christian Church. Classes have a maximum of 16 students with a licensed teacher and an assistant as well as additional campus support staff and administration. Our campus is highly secure, and parents often speak of how safe they feel sending their children to ECS. In addition to physical safety, we are committed to ensuring every child feels socially and emotionally safe at school as well. Before and after school care is available for a fee at our Crossroads Campus from 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students experience the benefits of an intentional learning environment that promotes age-appropriate academic, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Students develop skills and engage in literacy and math activities daily, as well as “specials” class with a rotation of art, music, PE, and library. The full-day format also includes morning and afternoon recesses, lunch time, nap/rest time, enrichment activities, and a discovery zone.
