Shelby Wilber, Owner/Director
Shelby has worked in child care for seven years at two different level four paths to quality ™ homes. She has owned/operated Woodside Child Care Home since 2022. She has her Child Development Associates (CDA) Credential. She is in school to get her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent her childhood summers growing up helping her (step)Mom with her childcare home. She believes that small class sizes allow the child’s development by giving more opportunities to have one-on-one teaching moments.

Situated in the Cowan school district, we are just a few blocks from the 67 Muncie bypass and only minutes from Muncie, New Castle, and Anderson, yet in a peaceful, quiet location if you’re looking to commute from the Muncie or New Castle area - a parent’s dream!
About our program
Woodside CCH has a fenced-in yard with a great nature setting. Inside features include multiple open-ended learning centers for children to learn and grow, a separate quiet space set up for our infants, and cubby boxes but also used for quiet times and therapy sessions. If you’re interested in enrolling, We can give you an application (enrollment forms) (physical or email) at the tour. required forms before care- birth certificate, physical, up-to-date vaccination records, enrollment fee, contract, and handbook.
